Mobile Bartending Prices for Orange County Events
In this guide

BeeHive’s mobile bartending prices start at $350 for bartender-only service, $750 for Bronze, and $1,150 for Silver. Gold is custom-quoted. The most useful comparison is what each option includes: service hours, staffing, the bar itself, and the supplies you would otherwise need to arrange.

All BeeHive services are dry hire. You purchase and provide the alcohol using our shopping list; we do not buy, sell, supply, transport, or deliver it. Keep your alcohol purchase separate from the bar-service budget.

Compare the starting prices and included hours

For an Orange County wedding, private party, corporate event, or brand activation, start with the service that fits your venue and menu. These are starting prices and planning guidelines; your proposal confirms the final scope.

Service Starting price Service hours Guest guidance and staffing Menu and setup
Bartender-only $350 2 hours included; 2-hour minimum Staffing confirmed for your event Bartending, standard tools, work-area setup and cleanup, and an alcohol shopping list; host supplies the bar and beverages/supplies
Bronze $750 3 hours included; 3-hour minimum Up to 70 guests; 1 bartender Mobile bar, 2 signature cocktails, standard garnishes and package supplies
Silver $1,150 3 hours included; 3-hour minimum Up to 120 guests; 2 bartenders Large mobile bar, 3 signature cocktails, premium garnishes and package supplies
Gold Custom quote 3-hour minimum; quoted hours confirmed in proposal 120+ guests; 2 or more bartenders Custom-styled bar, 4 signature cocktails, premium garnishes and presentation, soft drinks and water, and a Refreshment Station

Bronze, Silver, and Gold include bar tools, mixers, ice, coolers, plastic glassware, napkins, straws, package-appropriate garnishes, setup and breakdown, an alcohol shopping list, and a custom printed menu. These shared package inclusions do not automatically apply to bartender-only service.

Guest counts are planning recommendations, not guaranteed capacity. A short cocktail-hour rush can require a different staffing plan from the same number of guests ordering gradually throughout an evening.

When bartender-only service makes sense

Bartender-only service can be a good fit when your venue already has a suitable bar and you are comfortable arranging the drinks and supplies. Before choosing it, confirm what the venue provides and what you need to bring.

  • You provide: all alcohol, mixers, ice, coolers, cups or glassware, garnishes, napkins, straws, other beverages and supplies, and a suitable bar or work surface.

  • BeeHive provides: professional bartending, standard bar tools, setup and cleanup of the bartending work area, and an alcohol shopping list.

  • Optional bar: the $150 mobile bar add-on provides the mobile bar only. It does not include ice, coolers, mixers, drinkware, garnishes, or other supplies.

A venue or client can provide glassware for us to use. Confirm the quantity and arrangements for handling and cleaning it; premium glassware is not a standard package inclusion. A custom printed menu is included with Bronze, Silver, and Gold, but should be confirmed separately for a bartender-only booking.

If you do not have a bar or want BeeHive to provide the package supplies, a mobile-bar package may reduce the amount you need to organize before the event.

A three-hour and four-hour cost comparison

These hypothetical examples use the listed starting prices and standard staffing for each option. They assume the event qualifies for that starting price, any additional service is agreed and available, and the service window is exactly three or four hours. They are service subtotals, not complete event budgets.

Option Three hours of service Four hours of service What remains separate
Bartender-only with the optional mobile bar $350 + $75 + $150 = $575 $350 + (2 × $75) + $150 = $650 Alcohol, all host-provided supplies and other quoted charges
Bronze with 1 bartender $750 $750 + (1 × $100) = $850 Alcohol, selected add-ons and other quoted charges
Silver with 2 bartenders $1,150 $1,150 + (2 × $100) = $1,350 Alcohol, selected add-ons and other quoted charges

At three hours, bartender-only service with the bar is $175 below the Bronze starting price. At four hours, the difference is $200. Compare those differences with the cost and effort of providing the supplies before deciding which option suits you. Silver also includes a second bartender and a different menu scope, so its total is not a direct substitute for a one-bartender booking.

Without the optional bar, subtract $150 from the bartender-only examples. None of these totals includes alcohol, travel charges, venue fees, optional gratuity, or any applicable taxes. Your proposal confirms the charges that apply to your event.

How time, staffing, and your menu affect the quote

Additional service for Bronze, Silver, and Gold is $100 per bartender per started hour. Bartender-only additional service is $75 per started hour. Extra time is not prorated and is subject to availability and agreement, so confirm the service end time and extension terms before the event.

For example, one additional hour with Silver’s two bartenders adds $200 to the service price. Build your bar timeline around arrival drinks, dinner, speeches, and the last planned service, rather than assuming the bar must remain open for every hour of the venue booking.

Staffing also depends on drink complexity, the number of bar stations, and when guests order. Include people ordering mocktails and other alcohol-free drinks when planning demand. Our bartender staffing calculator gives a starting estimate; final staffing is agreed for your event. Its combined work-hour estimate is a planning tool, not a separate billing formula.

A service quote also covers preparation and event work beyond pouring drinks. Confirm the arrival, setup, service, and breakdown arrangements in the proposal so the venue and bar team are working to the same schedule.

Add the extras you actually want

Option Current starting price Planning details
Soft drinks and water $3 per drink Included in Gold
Refreshment Station From $125 4 gallons, approximately 45 guests; additional gallons $25 each. Included in Gold. Options include lemonade, infused water, iced tea, or a seasonal refreshment.
Slushie Machine From $215 2 gallons of one alcoholic or non-alcoholic signature slushie, approximately 30 guests; additional gallons $45 each. You provide any alcohol.

Two slushie flavors require a second station, with its price and quantities confirmed in the proposal. Guest-serving estimates depend on portion size and consumption; they do not promise unlimited servings or a set number of hours.

BeeHive primarily serves Orange County, California, with travel to select surrounding Southern California areas by arrangement. Confirm any travel charge for your location. Ask the venue directly about outside-vendor requirements, alcohol rules, corkage, and any venue-imposed fees; do not assume a general online fee range applies to your booking.

Use this checklist before you book

Compare proposals using the same guest count, menu, and service window. Then assign each remaining task so it is clear who is handling it.

Confirm Who handles it What to put in writing
Bar scope and staffing You and BeeHive Selected service, bartender count, signature-drink choices, included supplies and any add-ons
Event timing You, BeeHive and the venue Access for setup, service start/end, breakdown access and the rate for agreed extra time
Alcohol You Purchase and transport plan based on the shopping list, plus venue storage arrangements
Supplies and glassware You, BeeHive and the venue Which items the selected service includes and who provides everything else
Venue requirements You and the venue, coordinated with BeeHive Permission for the planned service, vendor requirements, access arrangements and any venue fees
Booking and payment You and BeeHive Total quoted price, signed agreement, 25% booking deposit, remaining balance and due date

Tips are optional and appreciated. A tip jar requires both client and venue approval.

For a venue with an equipped bar and supplies already arranged, bartender-only service may be the practical fit. For a host who needs the bar and package supplies provided, Bronze, Silver, or Gold offers a more complete setup. The right choice is the one that matches your event and leaves you with responsibilities you are comfortable handling.
